The purpose of the seminar is to introduce a new (constructive) approach to the study of analysis and partial differential equations in infinitely many variables, and applications. The approach is based on a combination of results due to von Neumann, M. Reed, and Gill & Zachary. The first part provides the basic background material so that second year graduate students will be able to participate.
